The load may not be the most consistent but depending on the round and components it can be pretty good. While not the best option reduced loads, using 4831 gun powder can be used in some bottleneck cases, but again care should be taken if you want mild loads. A 308 case can’t hold enough 4831 powder to generate serious pressure especially with light bullets.
